Felicitations

Prof. Mark Pinsker turns 70 on April 24th, 1995. He is a graduate of the Moscow State University and since 1955 has been affiliated with the Institute for Information Transmission Problems in Moscow. An account of Prof. Pinsker's contributions to information theory, statistics, theory of communication networks, and coding theory will appear in a forthcoming issue.
