1995 IT SOCIETY PAPER AWARD

The 1995 Information Theory Society Paper Award has been awarded to A. Roger Hammons, Jr., P. Vijay Kumar, A.R. Calderbank, N.J.A. Sloane, and Patrick Sole for their paper entitled, "The Linearity of Kerdock, Preparata, Goethals, and Related Codes" published in the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, Volume 40, No. 2, March 1994.

The Information Theory Society Paper Award, consisting of a certificate and an honorarium, is given annually for an outstanding publication in the field of information theory published anywhere during the preceding two-year period. Its purpose is to recognize exceptional publications in the field and to stimulate interest in, and encourage contributions to, the discipline.
