The Institute for Information Transmission Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Mathematics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences are organizing the Sixth International Workshop on Algebraic and Combinatorial Coding Theory in Pskov (280 km South-West of St.Petersburg) from Sunday, September 6, to Saturday, September 12, 1998.

The workshop covers the following topics:

                   Linear codes

                   Combinatorial codes

                   Algebraic-geometrical codes

                   Fast decoding

                   Encoding with additional information

                   Mathematical models in coding theory

Two copies of the submitted papers (4 camera ready pages in English) should be received before June 1, 1998 by

The accepted papers shall be included in the Proceedings, published at the beginning of the Workshop.
