Saffron Technology in Silicon Valley has an open position for a data scientist with an information theory background.

Saffron Technology is a mid-size startup who is using associative memories to access pairwise conditional probabilities in realtime to do supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms. Saffron Technology has recently been funded by a corporate investor in Silicon Valley and has enterprise proven technology with customers like Boeing, Mt Sinai Hospital and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Saffron Technology is looking to implement state-of-the-art research in ITL, particularly in the area of Parzen Windowing to make approximations of the divergence and Rényi entropy / information potential and has plans to include these concepts in our upcoming version of our software.
