Research Associate/Research Fellow Position at University of South Australia
Working as part of a research group, the Research Associate/Fellow will focus on development of new frameworks for distributed storage systems including the design of distributed storage systems that integrate efficiency, security and sustainability. Outcomes of the project are expected to improve the performances of data storage applications, including file sharing, content distribution networks, and distributed sensing networks. The appointee will have the opportunity to be involved in supervision of research students and participate in a variety of research projects within Institute for Telecommunications Research (ITR).

The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in a relevant discipline such as Information Engineering, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, an emerging record of research in relevant areas including but not limited to distributed data storage, coding and information theory, big-data, security and cryptography and a strong publication record.
