The 2024 North American School of Information Theory (NASIT 2024) will be held from July 28th to August 2nd in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. The program includes a mix of tutorials, student posters and social events. Tutorial topics are selected from current interests in information theory and more information can be found at the NASIT 2024 website. Graduate students and postdoctoral researchers working on information theory in a broad sense are encouraged to participate and present a poster.

 

Speakers include Meir Feder (ITSoc Padovani Lecturer), Hamed Hassani, Flavio Calmon, Yuejie Chi, Mohammad Ali Maddah-Ali, Anand Sarwate (ITSoc Distinguished Lecturer), Oliver Kosut (ITSoc Distinguished Lecturer), Gauri Joshi, Jun Chen, and Yingbin Liang.
