We open with a report on the Application-Driven Coding Theory Workshop, organized as part of the semester-long program on Error Correcting Codes - Theory and Practice, held at Simons Institute, Berkeley. We also have a book review of the book "Veridical Data Science: The Practice of Responsible Data Analysis and Decision Making", authored by Professors Bin Yu at UC Berkeley and Rebecca Barter at the University of Utah. As usual, we continue with the minutes from the Board of Governors meeting that was held in hybrid mode this past December. We conclude with the conference calendar.
