A postdoctoral position on the intersection of machine learning and information theory is available at the Chinese University of Hong Kong jointly supervised by Prof. Amin Gohari and Prof. Farzan Farnia. Candidates are expected to have Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer science, statistics, or a closely related field. The positions are available immediately and have a duration of one year, with the possibility of an extension for the second year. Background in information theory, optimization, and deep learning is desirable.
