The PhD position is funded by the EuroTech program for 4 years. The student will be employed at Eindhoven University of Technology and hosted in the group of A. Ravagnani (https://a.ravagnani.win.tue.nl/). The student will collaborate with and visit the group of E. Yaakobi (https://yaakobi.net.technion.ac.il/) at Technion. The resources for a research visit at Technion of various months in total have been secured already. The project is centered around DNA data storage, with possibility of shaping the research directions based on the interests of the student. A strong background in mathematics is needed for this position.
