Huawei Paris is looking for candidates for permanent junior and senior research positions in channel coding and lattice coding for wireless and optical communications.

The post is funded by the European Research Council (ERC) for a project on fog-aided wireless networks. The successful candidate should have a PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with expertise in information theory and ideally also in machine learning.

The Optical Algorithm Design team of the Mathematical and Algorithmic Sciences Lab, Huawei France Research Center, located in the Paris area, is seeking strong candidates for two permanent research positions in optical fiber communications. The research will focus on algorithms and coded modulation schemes to drive innovation in the context of high-speed coherent optical communications. The successful candidates will be involved in the development of competitive solutions for complex fiber optical transmission systems and of future key technology based on the non-linear Fourier transform.
