ORF-RE Workshop

ORF-RE Workshop
Intelligent Multiple Antenna Structures for Adaptive Wireless Systems

The Ontario Government is providing institutions with funding to undertake major research projects through the establishment of the Ontario Research Fund (ORF). A research consortium has been awarded funds through this program, to investigate and conduct research on ‘Intelligent Multiple Antenna Structures for Adapted Wireless Systems. A key element of this project is the hosting of workshops. The objective of the workshop is to gather and share ideas, participate in discussions, and to benefit overall from the research outcomes.

This ORF Workshop will feature two plenary talks by two distinguished speakers. The talk will be followed by a tour of some of the research facilities in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Waterloo. Part of this tour includes a visit to the Hyper-Connectivity Laboratory (HCL) and the Microwave and Terahertz Photonics Integrated System (MISL) Laboratory.

The workshop is scheduled to take place on Friday Dec. 5, 2008 . The venue is the Davis Centre - Room DC-1302 . For details of the talks please click on the following highlighted links: First Session and Second Session .
