Biography

Luis Salamanca (IEEE Student Member) is a PhD student in the University of Seville. He was born in Badajoz, Spain, in 1985. He obtained the BSc in Telecommunication Engineer and the MSc in Electronics and Signal Processing from the University of Seville in 2009 and 2010, respectively. During the last course, he was a lecturer in diverse topics such as signal processing, radio propagation and communication theory in the degree of telecommunications engineer. His main research interests are in the field of Bayesian statistics and machine learning applied to digital communications, more specifically to coding theory and channel equalization.
