Biography

Dr. Willie K. Harrison graduated with his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 2007 from Utah State University. He graduated with his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2012 from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with research focusing on physical-layer security, error-control coding, and cryptography. From 2012 to 2017, Dr. Harrison worked as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty at Brigham Young University in the fall of 2017. His current research interests are coding for secrecy, algebraic coding structures, continuous phase modulation waveforms, and sports performance analytics.
