Biography

Ying Li received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu in 1986, and the S.M. and the Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge in 1989 and 1994, respectively. She was with Codex Corporation and Bell Communications Research (Bellcore) during the summers of 1987 and 1990.  She is a professor and the chair of the Communications Engineering Department, Yuan Ze University, Taiwan. Her research interest is on the construction and applications of Golay complementary sequences for communications and signal processing. She is serving as the chair of the IEEE Information Theory Society, Taipei Chapter from August, 2011 to July, 2013.
