Biography

Received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Technion -- Israel Institute of Technology in 1978 and 1983 and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1991, all in electrical engineering.

During 1989 - 1991 he was a research assistant at the EE Dept. and the Systems Research Center, at UMCP. During the 1991-1992 academic year he was a PostDoc Fellow at the University of Waterloo, Canada. During 1992-1998 he was with Orckit Communications Ltd. in the capacity of a Senior Scientist. During 1998-2006 he was a Senior Research fellow at the EE Dept. Technion. Since 2007 he has been a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering, Bar-Ilan University, ramat-Gan Israel. His research interests are in digital communications and information theory.
