Biography

Basak Guler received her B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey in 2009 and her M.Sc. and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the Wireless Communications and Networking Laboratory, Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, in 2012 and 2017, respectively. Between 2018-2020, she was a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Southern California. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California Riverside. Her research interests include communications, information theory, machine learning, and signal processing.
