The paper submission deadline has been extended to January 24, 2014, at midnight, Eastern Time (New York, USA).

The 2014 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA from June 29 through July 4, 2014. 

 

Interested authors are encouraged to submit previously 

unpublished contributions from a broad range of topics related to 

information theory, including but not limited to the following areas:

  • Communication theory 
  • Compression 
  • Cryptography and data security 
  • Detection and estimation 
  • Information theory and statistics 
  • Information theory in networks 
  • Multi-terminal information theory 
  • Pattern recognition and learning 
  • Quantum information theory 
  • Sequences and complexity 
  • Shannon theory 
  • Signal processing 
  • Source coding 

 

Researchers working on novel applications of information theory are especially encouraged to submit original findings. Submitted papers should be of sufficient detail for review by experts in the field.
