The Elisha Yegal Bar-Ness Center for Wireless Communications and Signal Processing Research at NJIT is looking for a highly-qualified postdoctoral researcher in the areas of coding and information theory, starting January 1, 2015. Strong applicants with an excellent theoretical background and a proven capacity for high-quality research are solicited in the broad areas of graph-based coding theory, polar codes, their applications (e.g., in very low complexity codes, coding for storage, control, or secrecy), and network information theory.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or be close to completion) in electrical engineering or a related field (such as mathematics or statistics). The initial appointment will be for 12 months. Compensation will be competitive and applications are requested by September 30, 2014 or until the position is filled.
