ISIT 2024: Call for Tutorial Proposals
The 2024 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory seeks half-day tutorial proposals, which should provide clear and focused teaching material covering new and emerging topics within the scope of the conference.

The 2024 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory seeks half-day tutorial proposals, which should provide clear and focused teaching material covering new and emerging topics within the scope of the conference.

The tutorial proposal should describe concisely the content, importance, and timeliness of the tutorial. It should contain the following sections:

  • Title of tutorial.
  • Tutorial abstract.
  • Outline of the tutorial.
  • The name(s) of the tutorial lecturer(s). If there is more than one speaker, a distribution of the tutorial content among the lecturers.
  • Brief CVs for each tutorial lecturer (no more than 300 words per person).
  • Importance and timeliness of the tutorial.
  • Previous lecture and tutorial experience of the tutorial speaker(s).
  • Whether similar tutorials have been presented at previous ISITs or cognate conferences (e.g., ICASSP, ICC) and, if so, how this tutorial differs in scope.
  • Please consider strategies to accommodate the tutorial delivery in case of a virtual conference format.

Submission deadline: March 15, 2024

Submission format: Single pdf file.
