There are multiple openings for Ph.D. students in Prof. Aditya Ramamoorthy’s group starting in Spring 2017 and Fall 2017 at Iowa State University. The topics of research will be broadly in the area of codes for caching, distributed storage and network transmission. The ideal candidate(s) will have a good background and interest in mathematics especially probability/stochastic processes, linear algebra and discrete mathematics.
